As chiropractic continues to innovate and improve, we discover new ways of providing specific chiropractic adjustments. Our doctors provide enhanced techniques and groundbreaking approaches to creating a new level of wellness and health.

Most people are familiar with the “cracking” and popping that occurs during a chiropractic treatment, but did you know there are many more techniques that utilize the nervous system and other methods for treatment?

At Naples Health Institute, we use a variety of techniques that fit our patients best.  Each body is unique, and our doctors tailor custom care to fit your specific needs.  We are proud to have incredibly experienced doctors who know numerous techniques.

Below are some of the techniques we use.  To learn more about these techniques, please browse our educational video gallery!

Network Spinal (NS) works to transform patterns within the nervous system so that healing occurs from the inside out. NS works by gentle pressures which are applied to specific areas of the spine based on individual needs to promote reorganizational waves within the body.

Functional neurology treats the source of a patient’s ailments as “functional aberrations of the neuraxis” — meaning, clusters of neurons which aren’t working together in the way they are supposed to — in various locations throughout the central nervous system.

A Torque Release Technique (TRT) adjustment can be delivered with the spine in a perfectly relaxed neutral position with the perfect amount of force, whereas a traditional adjustment requires the spine to be stretched to a position of tension followed by the manual thrust by hand to sufficiently open the spinal joints to activate a cavitation response without the force, cracking, and popping sound of manual adjustments.

The Thompson Technique is a full-spine adjusting technique that emphasizes high-velocity, low amplitude, and some low-force procedures, using a drop table as an indispensable adjunct.

The Diversified technique uses high velocity and low amplitude thrusts to each joint. A short (low-amplitude) quick (high-velocity) thrust is applied over restricted joints one at a time. This restores the normal function and range of motion to the joint.

BGI is a chiropractic approach based on the geometry of the human body. It’s use applies the scientific understanding of quantum physics to health and healing. With this technique, the body is guided to release tension patterns and with each adjustment, your system becomes better able to adapt, self-correct and heal.
